How is this dummy going to say 4% of legal owners do these atroceties, Wich by the way back ground system failed, then turn around and say people buy the most lethal weapon to inflict the most murder.. ARs aren't the most lethal weapon out there. What bull crap

Fake tears on fake news……here is Real Americans statement on personalization of guns…”It’s Mine”. Trying to take it away will result in your fingers being damaged….at the root!

Tragedies are horrible in all legal gun owners minds. None of want even one more. Until human nature changes, which it won’t, we will be subject to them.

Actually more like 1,300,000,000 guns = 4 per household.

Those who support him are most probably cannot understand about the situation in their own country situations n affair. The CCP main objective is to destroy America, so that CCP can control the world. Out of the sudden this guy came out n speak so well n propose such a good gimmick to lure the illiterate to vote for him. Main point is to make America bankrupt n the CCP can take over. No country can afford to pay 1000 dollars to ever citizens for no string attach. Surely I am rich I will definitely get out of America. Once the country got no money, all citizens got money will be force to give to the country, like present Communist China now.

Digging into ANY of his "great ideas" yields flaws that are impossible to repair. Any of his "answers" elicit many questions, and some of them have no logical answer. Dig a little deeper and you will see what I mean.

Crying because you are moved by someone's story does not mean you are emotionally unstable. It means that you are human enough to show your own personal response. We all have moments where we show our feathers ruffles and forget that we are birds. We have moments where we might go off on a tangent in a rant because something drastically inspired you. These moments are what I live for, to show human emotions at the right time to give a great life-long experience. I think Andrew Yang is what America needs right about now, a big old dose of humanity and genuine empathy for the people. He thinks about all age groups when he speaks and how each of them is going to be impacted. I think it is refreshing that every single time someone asks him a question he answers. He is so well-rounded and I know deep down that he can win. Andrew Yang can do what no other politician has done and that is to Make America Think Harder! #Yang2020

vote Andrew Yang! it could seem like a long shot now, but his supporters are growing in number! Let's get him into the White House! 😀

Wow. I love Elizabeth Warren, but I'm leaning towards Yang because of how practical and sincere he is. Plus, this translates to voters across party lines. #YangGang

Freedom dividend sounds nice and also the gun buy back idea. I am little concerned about inflation, the general prices of products could go up due to increased demands, but the supply side, it is not the work force is the limiting factor but the supply of the resources limited on the Earth. Also, if the country purchase back the guns, which could be very rusty and old but working yet not so well, would be waste of the government money. How would the government afford for this change and removing the of old stuffs can be difficult without risks. Basically I think the recycling of the money and resources is the key for the solutions he suggests. However, how we will do these recycling are not answered yet. Also, I am worried how the big scale of non-solidified idea of this universal basic income would work in the US without going through increasing the sizes and scales first in a way like phase 1, 2, 3 studies.

The next time I hear someone say, who's going to pay for the $1,000.00 to everyone. I am going to say "why do you care". You do not have an economic degree and neither do I, if someone as smart as Andrew Yang says it can be done, then I believe!

  • Tahija Akeem

The only reason I been paying attention to politics or the debates is because of Andrew Yang. I’m proud to say I’m a member of the #YangGang and I just made my second donation today.

  • Miiyamoto

I don't really think this is going to do anything. Why not have a monthly background check and having a gun license where you gotta renew the license by doing a background check every so often to see if you are mentally stable to still own the gun or other things. I really think that would help.

Another thing that people miss was Andrews Yang stance on the criminal system, he said "We have to get rid of private prisons that have a profit incentive. I would legalize marijuana nationally, and then I would mass pardon anyone who's in jail for a nonviolent marijuana-related offense."
    That's 2 things.
    1. Good ideas
    2. Shows how much Andrew Yang actually cares about PEOPLE, about the outcasts too, and he is not brainwashed like all of the other candidates. He thinks for himself

  • hockeynmma1992

This man said ban automatic weapons 🤦‍♂️ Automatic weapons are already illegal to own. These democrats really need to educate themselves, before opening up there mouths about guns!!

  • DrScream

Only thing that worries me with the gun personalization and the grip that "only recognizes your palm" is the fact that it's going to be a technology and technology can be tampered with. What if someone (whether it be government becoming communist or an intruder that knows how to hack into it) gets the gun and either disable it or changes the palm so that it is now rendered inoperable. Not looking to argue just looking for actual answers. I'm pretty level headed. I promise I'm not a crazy far right or far left nut job XD

  • Keenan Drummond

The only part that makes me nervous about Andrew Yang is that in this interview he says both that we can't trust the government yet there should be a perpetual buy-back… if anyone knows what the government really is like…. they will force it upon us and it will not be a choice on our own volition as free people. You give them that inch and they will take the yard of full-on gun confiscation

  • Areito Music

I am pro 2A, and I like the things AY says, however, if I am home and an intruder comes in, and he wounds me – I would like for my girl, or other family member, to be able to take and use my firearm to protect us against said intruder.

  • Gottenburg

Amazing the guy can’t tell what classified as an “Assault” Rifle yet the usual drones called his voters see him as a money god. Lol go fig.

  • Jason Wood

Ban automatic weapons? They are already extremely difficult and expensive to own.

Background check? Any purchase from a dealer at a gun show or shop requires a NICS background check.

The NICS background check can be improved by holding agencies responsible when they fail to report domestic violence or other offenses that prohibit firearm ownership.

Strawman purchases (someone legally purchasing a firearm to sell to someone who cannot legally own one) are illegal, but from what I understand they are not prosecuted very often.

These two steps, which require no new legislation as they are already laws on the books, are a good first step.

The great thing about doing those two things? They do not impact law abiding citizens who have a right to keep and bear arms.

Also, kids getting ahold of guns and hurting themselves… That's a result of irresponsible gun owners not educating their children.

I like a lot of what Yang says, but he totally loses me when he talks about more gun control.

  • Chrome Chronotic

I would also propose punishing the offender and the weapon owner if a crime is committed with their personal weapon.

  • Peaches Rocks

OMG I didn’t see this happen 😭😭😭😢Just That moment made me cry! We need someone like Andrew Yang #yangganglove #nohate #yang2020 thanks for having him @msnbc for having him.

  • Lance Neidhardt

3:40 I love this from him. Democrats currently seem to care more about beating republicans than actually having real solutions to the problems faced by Americans daily. All they want is to make empty promises without having real policy.
Yang seems to be one of the few who cares more about winning the election to implement real solutions than just for the purpose of keeping republicans out of office.
And he's the only one who has policy that makes logical sense that people from both sides can get behind

Get this gun-regulating, gun-confiscating Commie out of my face. The 2nd Amendment exists to protect a Free people from a corrupted government. And a corrupted government is Precisely what we have today. You want to prevent people getting shot? Well, for starters, you can tell the Deep State to stop running its Black Ops.

if you are a gamer, you know that Metal Gear Solid 4 invented the personalised guns based on RFID. but we also know that even though you personalised guns, it just create a new job, which is hacking the guns to disabled the sensors. #yangGang

As a long time Bernie Sanders supporter, I think Yang might be my new #1 pick and he’s definitely my # 2 as of today.

With $1000 of free money a month the opioid crisis will rise , and more criminals will be able to afford guns so they can commit more crimes. $1000 a month wont magically change people's behaviors.

Automatic firearms have been banned since 1993 to acquire an automatic firearm you have to go through the stages of a federal background check. Even after getting a license to acquire an automatic firearm they are values in the 10k + range after you spend tons on your license. The automatic weapons on the market are mostly antiques and no one that spends money on them would want to shoot them. No matter where you live it is nearly impossible for the common man to acquire a military grade firearm the AR firearm is not “assault rifle” it is “armlite rifle” politicians use assault rifle as a way to manipulate people who are uneducated on facts of firearms. It is a shame that people are killed with firearms but more people are killed with feet every year. Taking firearms from people that use them for defense or for sport is unethical because just as easy as it is for people to get heroin it is just as easy to get illegal weapons over the border. You’re putting innocent people at risk and giving criminals an easy way to become far more powerful.

  • George Dylan

So happiness equals more money??? Come on now. This free money will be taken from somewhere, and it will make all money less valuable. And all will suffer, including the people gettin "lifted out of poverty" with a 1000 a month? That is ridiculous. Working class, please dont be fooled.

  • MrJustwatchin9 Ontheinnanets

So Bush was the security president, Obama was the healthcare president, Trump is the border control president, Yang could be the technological advancement president. 1k/month coming from automation of jobs and a solution for gun control is in state of the art tech that only recognizes you as the owner. He’s a tech exec and his agenda is rooted in silicone valley. If he’s the president then welcome to the future America. I like him actually. His logic is good

  • Darrin Jones

What a liar when he states these shootings of innocent children happen "everyday in all the big cities across America". If that was TRUE , why did he have to reach waaaaay back (30+ years) to a Boston suburb to cite an example? I would challenge him to give us three such examples from just last week. I would not even pin him down to any one day. But pick three big cities at random, like ABC's, Atlanta, Boston and Chicago, tell me about the killings there, last week of innocent kids. Then we could go on to Albuquerque, Birmingham and Charlotte. And see if he can cite an example, not one for each and every day, as he lied about, but just one per week, per city. Just blatant LIES and Main Stream Media is wondering WHY folks do NOT believe them and their industry is dying.

THIS MAN NEEDS MONEY. DONATE ANYTHING YOU CAN. https://www.yang2020.com.

I'm from Ireland, and I would gladly donate anything I can afford, but I'm pretty sure that's not legal. My reasoning behind is that every country in the west needs to adopt his policies right now, and if he gets elected, it will show them the way. It's not going to have the same utility four years down the line if Bernie manages to finish a sentence or two and finally realizes the reality of it. It will be too late to implement then, because old school politics moves like molasses. If UBI doesn't happen right now, it's going to be a fire in a madhouse. Please give everything you can, not just for you own sake, but for the sake of the rest of us too. An example needs to be set for the entire Western World, and YANG is the right person to do this. Thank you.

    150 policies on his website
    1. Freedom Dividend
    2. Democracy Dollars
    3. Human Centered Capitalism
    4. Medicare4all
    5. James Bond Gun (personalized guns)
    And more…

Not to be ageist but we need Yang because he has a more modern forward thinking mind. He is the only one really concerned about creating a better future all around. I think it’s mostly because of his children who are young but also because he knows all future generations will suffer as well. Most of these older politicians aren’t concerned because they’ll be out soon and they just want to finish their career without stepping on any nerves.

  • Mang Sitlhou

His plan are so transparent that even if he is elected as president i fear for his life some elite group is not going to be happy about his policy

  • Barbara Brinkmeyer

Yes. Right to bear arms does not mean that anyone should be gunning down innocents. Citizens, stand tall for your rights. State what you and will not accept. Additionally stated, it's true that Elon Musk actively supports Yang's U.B.I., inclusive of Social Security. Though our military is powerful, America is bleeding silently on the ground, and the harsh fact that Republicans have been leaving working classes behind no longer supports their own private contentions. We have a duty to protect Democracy and fellow human beings.

So I’m a 47 year old male and I cry very often mostly by myself but my wife and daughter seem to find it disturbing, but I’m human and I have a heart.

  • Garbanzo Explains

"Ban automatic weapons." Man, I like Yang, but he really shouldn't be proposing gun legislation if he doesn't realize that automatic weapons are essentially banned already.
