Creaative Bump: ABIs to deliver a training group experience mixing a collective artistic creation


We met the artist here in the MEP Business School’s great hall at 8 am. After, here in the hall as well, we discussed about the change and its features, as an example our behaviour when a change occurs. This workshop is based on an artwork that I made in 2015, it is called “Mass age, message, mess age”. It regards communication dynamics during changes. The most fascinating aspect of this kind of workshop is the way people interact, not only with each other, but also with me. This is interesting because it is possible to watch people’s behaviour paying specific attention to their personalities that most of the time are unknown also for them. Starting from raw materials, there were two hours of time to build an artwork related to communication. …the most interesting thing for me was to observe their ability and the creativity of projecting the artwork using the less time possible, a way of working totally different from mine. …Therefore, a kind of machine to drive the message somehow or… to make the communication easier and more amplified… Contact points between art and business can be various, surely the working phases are similar because there are always:
a research, a project and a production step. It is important to consider also the dialogue between internal and external environment because, obviously, a business product has a completely different way of communicating
with the audience than the artwork. Despite those differences, there are similar stages
of making both the artwork and the business product.
