JUDGE WHITAKER DENIED A MOTION FOR PRETRIAL DETENTION AND GARCIA WAS FREED FROM JAIL. CHRIS: r THURSDAY, ALL 13 DISTRICT ATTORNEYS ARE SENDING A LETTER TO THE STATE SUPREME COURT ASKING FOR CHANGES IN AN AMENDMENT 87% OF NEW MEXICANS VOTED FOR LAST NOVrtEMBER. THEY SAY THE AMENDMENT IS MISLEADING AND CLOGS THE SYSTEM.>>THEY VOTED IT NOT KNOWING THAT THErt OTHER PART OF THE AMENDMENT WAS A RELEASE OF EVERYBODY ELSE. CHRIS: DIANNA LUCE, THE 5TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY SAYS THE CITY OF HOBBS HAS rtSEEN A SPIKE IN DEFENDANTS NOT SHOWING UP TO COURT.
