Legislation are the laws that are made
by the parliaments of Australia. Different jurisdictions give the
different versions of the legislation different names. Let’s take a look at
some of the synonyms used to describe legislation. Acts as Made, Principal Act,
Act as Passed and Numbered Act all refer to the original version of an Act. Reprint, Current Legislation, Act in Force,
and Compilation, all refer to a version of the Act that includes amendments that
have occurred after the original version was passed and made law.
