Video: Mayor considers removal of Confederate monuments

THE CURRENT MAYOR WANTS TO START SELLING THEM OFF. 2015, BALTIMORE COUNTY OFFICIALS SEPTEMBER BROKE GROUND ON A NEW PROJECT FOR LAKE ROLAND, WHICH INCLUDED RENAMING IT. AND THUS IT’S OLD NAME, ROBERT LEE PARK, AS NO MORE. BUT THAT WAS JUST ONE OF THE MONUMENTS TO CONFEDERATE LEADERS IN THE BALTIMORE AREA. THE CITY HAD AT LEAST FOUR MORE, PROMINEENTLY DISPLAYED IN BOLTON HILL, MOUN VERNON, AND TWO IN NORTH BALTIMORE. IN 2016, A TASK FORCE COMMISSIONED BY FORMER MAY STEPHANIE RAWLINGS-BLAKE RECEMMENDED TWO OF THEM REMOVED THAT FOLLOWED PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MONTHS OF REVIEW. RAWLINGS BLAKE PUT SIGNS ON THE MONUMENTS, SAYING THEY PERPETUATRED THE BELIEFS OF WHITE SUPREMACY. BUT SHE LET THEM STAND. NOW, CURRENT MAYOR CATHERINE PUGH SAYS SHE IS CONSIDERI REMOVING THEM AND SUGGESTS AUCTIONING THEM TO COVER THE COST. AN OFFICER IN THE LOCAL SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS CRITICIZED THE PLAN AND THREATENED TO STAND IN ITS WAY. ” WE VERY MUCH OPPOSED TO THE TALIBAN-LIKE DESTRUCTION OF CONFEDERATE MEMORIALS. WE WILL TAKE WHATEVER ACTION NECESSARY TO BLOCK IT.” THE MAYOR HAS PROVIDED NO TIMETABLE OF MONUMENT REMOVAL. DURING THE CIVIL WAR, UNIO SOLDIERS OUTNUMBERED CONFEDERA SOLDIERS IN MARYLAND THREE TO ONE. YET IN THE BALTIMORE AREA, MOST OF THE MONUMENTS CONCERNING THE CIVIL WAR STAND FOR THE CONFEDERATE SIDE.

Don't get confused. The KKK still exist with members devil-worshipping at this moment… And when some klu klux klan cop pulls you over with evil intentions, than you'll know the KKK is practicing there craft and is alive and well in your local community.
